Chanukah candle lighting

The second annual Menorah Lighting will be held on Sunday December 14th from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. at the Masonic Hall on Academy Street.

Plans are in the works for music, food, children’s activities, time to socialize, and the lighting of all of our menorahs. There will be a tzedekah opportunity to raise money for the Arlington’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Committee and Fuel Assistance Fund.

If you are interested in helping, please contact Judi Bohn (judibohn@comcast.net), Sharon Grossman (isgross@rcn.com), Beth Cohen (bfcohen@luthcomputer.com) or Annie LaCourt (annielacourt@comcast.net).

We’d like to include some time for folks who would like to discuss a specific topic, i.e. Jewish cultural activities, youth activities, etc., to get together – if you have topic ideas, please let us know.

"The idea for this event is to have a nosh, talk about what we want the Jewish Community of Arlington to be, find out who might like to serve on the steering committee and light the menorah's we hope everyone will bring."
